Visual Studio 2013 and Git

The meeting had two possible solutions: Subversion and Git.

At its meeting Subversion, I have seen the example of the use to develop .NET applications.
A brief introduction has provided the basic concepts and best practices to be followed; a series of demo showed how to put them into practice.

Subsequently I have seen an overview of the systems of distributed Source Control, Git introducing and analyzing the basic concepts, main features and management methodologies. I then saw some clients running Git on Windows and the new built-in support in Visual Studio 2012, 2013 and Team Foundation Service.

It was followed by an open debate on the advantages and disadvantages of various solutions by comparing the experiences of the participants.
